Okay, all! It’s time to get ready to pull back the tarps, get the chlorine and get that filter running because it’s almost pool season! It’s almost time for floaties, noodles and sunblock, which are fun enough, certainly.  But why not jazz it up a little bit with some fun summer pool games? Here are some ideas, courtesy of the Disney Family Fun website:

Scavenger Hunt

Duck

Ping Pong Scramble

These are great ways to help your little ones learn how to swim AND they learn how to have fun safely in the pool.

Pools come with their own hazards, though, so it’s important to review your Homeowner’s Insurance policy with your Encharter Insurance agent to discuss its liability limits.  Pools are big liability risks; i.e. if a neighbor or a neighbor’s child gets injured at your pool, even if they are uninvited, you are liable. You might want to discuss whether or not your current policy will adequately protect for the losses of a potential lawsuit. It might even be a good idea to discuss purchasing a Personal Umbrella policy for increased protection.
