With the football season over, it is time for many fans to look ahead to analyzing next season. However, the Green Bay Packers will want to soak in the glory of their fourth NFL title and look back on a season where they were constantly plagued with injuries and doubt.

The Packers had their starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, suffer two concussions, 15 players out for the season (out of 53), and two more starters leave the game due to injury during the Super Bowl. Despite this overwhelming amount of injuries, Aaron Rodgers and company hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy up on Sunday night and celebrated their dream come true.

Moreover, they were the underdogs throughout the entire playoffs, playing on the road four times. Underdog stories are ones we all love, and the Packers’ story lived up to the standards. One thing we learned from their season is that even with accidents and injuries plaguing them left and right, it is possible to rebound and come out on top.

We face the risk of accidents every day but keep pressing on and know it is possible to bounce back after a loss. At Encharter Insurance, we know this all too well. Assisting after a car accident, burglary, or Mother Nature wreaking havoc on your home, we are here to make sure you’ll be back to normal as quick as possible.

Review your CT car insurance and CT homeowner’s insurance to make sure you have your needs met. You can also call your local Encharter Insurance agent at (888) 865-1244 or stop by one of our five offices.

There are many things we have to worry about everyday concerning our cars. Does it have enough gas? When is the next oil change? Does it have windshield washer fluid? Where did I park?

However, now there might be one more issue to deal with concerning theft. A research group from Switzerland was able to break into ten different vehicles manufactured by eight different companies by intercepting signals from the fobs on your keychain that can unlock your car from afar.

This new way to steal cars is quite high tech and complex, but the risk is still there. Most people do not unlock their car until it is visible, so seeing the culprit in action would be easy. Moreover, this theft was completed by Swiss researchers, so your run-of-the-mill thief would be hard pressed to obtain the details on how to perform this action.

Nevertheless, opening your car before it is visible is risky. It can lead to a stolen GPS or other personal items in your car. Additionally, if you like to get a head start and go outside to warm up your car before heading to work, make sure to keep an eye on your car. The winter is a gold mine for car thieves all over the nation because people leave their keys in the ignition for five to ten minutes, leaving the car unattended and vulnerable.

Either way, your car is one of your most important assets and you should protect it against theft and an accident. Review your CT auto insurance policy with your Encharter agent by giving us a call at (888) 865-1244. Or, stop by an office to dive into the details of your policy.

Sometimes we are running around all day in a blur and aren’t able to pause for a second and see the world around us. Little things happen every day that make life awesome, and they can be easy to overlook. A child laughing, your favorite smell, and avoiding accidents are encounters that happen daily.

Neil Pasricha realized that awesome things happen every day and created a website about them. 1000 Awesome Things lists 5 items a week that Neil deems “awesome”. Every weekday he posts a simple item with a short post describing why that item deserves being one of the thousand. Recent posts have discussed twisting the lid off of a jar after no one else could, getting the perfect fry to ketchup ratio, and hitting something with your car and there’s no damage

Unfortunately, it is rare to hit something with your car and discover that there was no damage. Accidents are a daily occurrence and lack of proper insurance can be devastating. Be sure to review your CT auto insurance policy at Encharter Insurance’s virtual office.

So as you take time to appreciate the little things at www.1000awesomethings.com, balance them out with the big picture and covering your insurance needs. CT Home insurance and CT Auto insurance are necessities and you’ll want the best policy you can get. Call an Encharter agent today at (888) 865-1244.
