After almost two full semesters of living with the same two people, we have developed a decent routine for dinners. Rotating cooking schedules, occasionally taking out, and planning meals ahead of time have helped us to avoid eating Ramen noodles for every meal.
Although we have a nice routine going, we’ve also developed consistent meals. Our chicken stir-fry and baked ziti rival my mother’s, but it helps to branch out a bit. Finding new recipes can be a risky undertaking. You might need extra ingredients or make an error during the process, but you could also find a new staple for your recipe inventory.
Yahoo has pulled together 7 meals to try out this week. I may not attempt them all, but the Mediterranean chicken breasts look great!
As always with cooking, make sure to keep items away from your stove top besides pots and pans and make sure your smoke detectors are functioning. Spilling an accidental fire can cause massive damage to your kitchen, raising your Connecticut homeowner’s insurance. If you’re a renter like me, you may want to look into Connecticut renter’s insurance; rarely are your belongings covered by your landlord’s insurance.
So as you try new meals and conquer new tastes, remember to be safe so you don’t have to call up your Connecticut insurance agent over a silly cooking mishap. And remember that you can always save money by combining your CT home insurance and Connecticut Auto insurance policies!
